God’s Love
God Loves You
OurFutureTea.org has many pages aimed at all audiences, as we strive to help everyone regardless of their religion or other statuses. On this page, we will speak of Jesus Christ and God’s love for His children in order to help those on their walk with God.
When struggling with depression, anxiety, or other possible illnesses, sometimes it’s hard for even Christians to not become filled with hatred towards the world and its people. It is also possible to become scared of God over time. However, God knows of your fear and He also sees your heart. He wants to help you. Even if you think that it is God who is piling up bad days in your life, know that this is not true. God loves you and He wants you to be happy. It is possible that you can become filled with the joy of the Lord.
If you are not a Christian, or you are and you are interested in experiencing God’s love and forgiveness and having a strong relationship with God, it all starts with a simple prayer. You just need to pray for forgiveness of your sins and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and make Him your personal Lord and Savior. Romans 10:13 says "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Then it is important to have a strong foundation of trust in your relationship with God.
Trusting In God to Help You
It’s important for Christians to trust in God. When we remember to trust in God, we realize that we're never alone – He is always with us. Whenever you feel fear or anxiety, remember to turn to God first. He is bigger and stronger than anything you could ever possibly be afraid of.
It is always good to remind yourself in times of sadness that God won't let you slip into a state of depression without being there to help pull you out of it. We were never promised that we wouldn’t have bad days, we were promised that God would be there for us to help us through those days. He will help you throughout all of your tribulation, if you allow Him to. Psalm 31:24 tells us, "Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord."
Believe that The Lord will rescue you from every evil attack as well. For you this could be depression, stress, anxiety or sin. Remember that the Lord wants to help you and guide you through everything. Pray today and remember to cast your burdens upon the Lord, for He cares for you (Psalm 55:22 "Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.", 1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."). Put all your burdens in the hands of the Healer.
Everyday Is A New Day
Yesterday is in the past. Today is the present. Each day that you wake up is a gift, and no matter what happens, it’s important that you chose to accept it. Whatever is in your past, perhaps memories of bullies, rejection, hatred or anything else, these were things that happened so that you could be stronger today. Whatever has happened in your past will not ever be what defines you or what’s going to happen in your future.
Isaiah 43:18 tells us, "Forget the former things; Do not dwell on the past." You can pray to God today and He will help you with this. If there is a heavy burden you are carrying, God doesn't want you to drag that around with you! He doesn't want that burden resting on your shoulders, He wants to give you the strength to let that go. It's time to put it in God's hands. Live for today. Bright things are in your future, and it's hard to see that if we are constantly dwelling on the past.
Life might seem awful to you sometimes, but that doesn’t ever mean that it is.
Beating Insecurities
Sometimes we can begin to hate ourselves or feel that we deserve to be hated. That’s not true, and God never thought so. You are loved by God and you have always been loved by God, even if there were times when you felt you didn't deserve to be. The Bible tells us that God is love and He is the one love that matters the most. When you accept Christ Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, when God looks at you, He sees His Son within you.
God can see your whole life and inside of your heart. He knows everything about you, and He loves you just the same. 1 John 3:20 says "if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things." God loves you, regardless of what insecurities your mind may have told you about yourself. Remember that you are His beautiful and precious creation.
Allow God to help you through every situation. Talk to Him and He will listen. Trust in Him in both good and bad times. He loves you, and He wants to help you. "The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the unwary; when I was brought low, he saved me." Psalm 116:5, 6
